Watchmen, a new week of intercession begins, and the nations are holding their breath. America votes on Tuesday, Israel waits for a government to be formed, and the United States and Israel prepare for the possible resumption of hostilities with Iran. We do not pray in fear. We pray in faith, because ADONAI has not forgotten His people.
Hear the song of ascents, Psalm 125, the pilgrim's song sung by those who climbed the road up to Jerusalem. It is the word we stand on this week:
“[1] Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. [2] As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore. [3] The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, for then the righteous might use their hands to do evil. [4] Lord, do good to those who are good, to those who are upright in heart. [5] But those who turn to crooked ways the Lord will banish with the evildoers. Peace be on Israel.”
Psalms 125:1-5
This is why the watchmen do not waver. Those who trust in ADONAI cannot be shaken, for as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds Israel and everyone who stands with her. The scepter of the wicked will not remain, and so we pray without ceasing for the peace of Israel.
For those who would like to read along, here are the key prayer points for this week, as we intercede for Israel and the United States at this critical time:
1) Pray for the US midterm elections this Tuesday, November 3, and for the nation that stands with Israel.
On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Americans go to the polls for the midterm elections. The decisions made at the ballot box will shape the nation's stand toward Israel and toward Iran for years to come. This week, President Trump accused Iran of deliberately trying to drive up oil prices ahead of the midterms by spreading false reports of attacks and mines in the Strait of Hormuz. He also accused the Iranian regime of killing 75,000 protesters in less than seven months, and vowed that Iran will never be allowed to possess a nuclear weapon.
The stakes reach far beyond Washington. Fox News reports that President Trump is weighing an expansion of strikes against Iran following the midterms. Our channel also shared a sobering warning from Israel's own election: every vote counts, and freedom is never to be taken for granted.
"The king's heart is like a stream of water directed by the LORD; he guides it wherever he pleases." Proverbs 21:1
LORD, we lift up every American voter before Your throne. Stir the hearts of Your people, especially the Christians who do not intend to vote, and bring conviction about the privilege and responsibility You have placed in their hands. Let none of us take our freedom for granted, and let us remember the high price that was paid for it.
ADONAI, we come against every lying spirit and command it to be SILENCED. We loose Your spirit of TRUTH upon the American people, that they would vote according to the convictions in their hearts and not according to the media of the enemy. Raise up leaders who fear You and who will stand with Israel, for You promised in Genesis 12:3 that You will bless those who bless her. Guide President Trump with Your wisdom. 2) Pray for wisdom for President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu, as the US prepares for a possible resumption of hostilities with Iran.
Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump spoke last night. A senior US official told The Washington Post: "We have informed the Gulf states to prepare for a resumption of hostilities as early as this coming Wednesday." Our channel shared footage of dozens of US military planes on the ground at Ramon Airport near Eilat, and reported that US Air Force aerial refueling tankers are lined up at Ramon Airbase.
Earlier this week, at least 10 US military transport aircraft landed at Israel's Nevatim and Ovda airbases within 24 hours, with additional flights to installations in Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Some arrived from Fort Bliss, Texas, home to a major US air defense hub, which could point to efforts to replenish Israel's interceptor stocks. Reports also say the USS Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit are heading to the region, due by the end of November. President Trump has not made a final decision.

Give courage and discernment to their war cabinets, protect every American and Israeli serviceman and woman, and frustrate every plot of the Iranian regime. 3) Pray for the IDF Home Front Command, as Israel launches nationwide emergency drills.
The IDF's Home Front Command Search and Rescue Brigade began exercises today, Sunday, November 1, at locations across Israel, and the drills will continue throughout the week. Troops will rehearse complex emergency scenarios involving simultaneous threats on multiple fronts, practicing rescue operations and coordination with emergency services. Increased movement of military personnel and vehicles is expected nationwide.

LORD, give wisdom and preparedness to the IDF as they execute these drills. Cause them to be properly prepared, with all of their bases covered and all potential issues addressed. Guide and direct their every step, and keep every Israeli family safe. B'SHEM YESHUA!! 🙏🇮🇱🙏
4) Pray for President Trump's protection, as the US reportedly received intelligence of an Iranian plan to target him.
The United States has reportedly received intelligence about an Iranian plan to target President Trump. This is a report, and the details have not been confirmed. Footage from Mar-a-Lago shows a heavy air defense presence around the property. Reports say Avenger air defense systems armed with Stinger missiles were positioned near the estate, and NORAD and US Northern Command confirmed that the deployment was made at the request of the US Secret Service.

5) Pray for President Herzog, as he begins consultations to decide who will form Israel's next government.
Israelis voted on Tuesday, October 27, with a record 77.7% turnout. With 100% of the votes counted, Likud (Netanyahu's party) is the largest party with 27 seats, followed by Yashar with 21 and Beyachad with 12. The seat tally stands at 53 for Netanyahu's bloc, 48 for the opposition bloc and 19 for the Arab bloc. Neither major bloc has the 61 seats needed for a Knesset majority.
President Isaac Herzog will begin consultations with the political parties on Wednesday to determine which candidate will be tasked with forming the next government. The meetings will be broadcast live, and Herzog is urging party leaders to reconsider their positions and work toward preventing another election. Official results are expected to be submitted to the president on Wednesday. Netanyahu is considered the likely candidate, but no decision has been made.

Give him supernatural insight into the intentions of each party and which one is the best candidate to begin building the next government. Go before him and prepare the way, Oh GOD! 6) Pray for the truth to be exposed, as Israel's Shin Bet issues its first official statement on the election bribery investigation.
After Israel's election, Likud alleged vote-buying at polling stations in Arab communities. Now Israel's domestic security agency, the Shin Bet, has released its first official statement addressing suspected foreign interference and election bribery. Reports describe an investigation into possible foreign funding, with Qatar, Turkey and Iran named. Here are its key points.
1. The intelligence did not come from any political party. The Shin Bet says the information originated from its own intelligence-gathering operations aimed at detecting foreign influence, not from Likud, the opposition or any other political organization.
2. The investigation was kept secret until after the election. According to the Shin Bet, only Central Elections Committee Chairman Justice Noam Sohlberg had access to the intelligence before voting concluded.
3. The investigation is still ongoing. The Shin Bet explicitly warns that public claims about the substance or nature of the suspicions do not represent the agency's findings.
4. Netanyahu, Eisenkot and Lapid have been personally briefed. With Justice Sohlberg's authorization, Shin Bet Director David Zini personally briefed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Yashar leader Gadi Eisenkot and opposition leader Yair Lapid during the past 24 hours.
5. The findings will be presented to the Central Elections Committee. The Shin Bet says the full results will be delivered transparently, without interpretation, to the authorized election officials.
The bottom line: Israel's security service confirms that the investigation originated from independent intelligence collection, not partisan complaints. The findings are still pending.

7) Pray for Brazil, as Senator Flavio Bolsonaro arrives in the United States after Brazil's election.
Brazilian Senator Flavio Bolsonaro, son of former President Jair Bolsonaro, was seen stepping off a private jet near Miami after leaving Brazil following his defeat to President Lula in Sunday's presidential election. He was later greeted by President Trump. The US State Department confirmed that it will grant visas to the senator and his family.

LORD, give wisdom to Flavio Bolsonaro in this season. Open doors that no man can shut, lead and guide every decision, and protect him and his family. Do not fear, Brazil! Keep praying and believing, for God has a greater plan. In YESHUA'S MIGHTY NAME!! 🙏🇧🇷🙏
8) Pray that the lie that Israel is an apartheid state would be exposed by the truth.
As the world watched Israel's election, our channel highlighted a simple truth. Israel is a democracy in which Jews, Muslims, Christians, Druze and citizens of all backgrounds have the right to vote and choose their leaders. For comparison, Hamas won the 2006 elections in Gaza and violently seized control in 2007, and in Judea and Samaria Mahmoud Abbas has remained president since 2005 without another presidential election.
